Test Description
Starting from HPT v5.0 the load balancing policy was updated to Least Queue Depth, in order provide better OS resiliency along with optimal performance.
- Older versions of HPT verify and set the load balancing policy to Round Robin.
This test check that the load balancing policy that is in use for InfiniBox is Least Queue Depth.
This test case fails if:
The configured load balancing policy for InfiniBox is not least queue depth.
This test case passes if:
The configured load balancing policy for InfiniBox is least queue depth.
How-to fix this test
Automatic fix
The automatic fix uses mpclaim to set the load balancing policy for InfiniBox to least queue depth.
Manual fix
Use either the mpclaim utility or the MPIO management snippet to configure the load balancing policy.
