About the Touchscreen
The Touchscreen is an optional part of InfiniDoor. The Touchscreen displays information about system performance and capacity gauges.
Installation
- InfiniDoor Touchscreen (if supplied) is initially configured by Infinidat personnel, as part of the InfiniBox installation.
Authentication and security
User management
- Any InfiniBox user can log into the Touchscreen
- The tablet user
- The Touchscreen is installed with a predefined local user with the following attributes:
- Role: Read-only
- Username:
tablet
- Password: auto-generated, non-trivial and unique for each InfiniBox system
- The tablet user can be disabled (or deleted), similar to any other local user

Controlling the visibility of the Touchscreen
The Touchscreen can be set to work in two modes:
- Always on - the screen is never locked and the screensaver does not become active
- Locked screen - the Touchscreen view is hidden behind a screensaver
Screen lock
When the screen is set to be locked, the user controls the lock timer and the way the screen is unlocked.
- Lock timer - the lock timer can be set (to either 1, 2, 3, 5, or 10 minutes)
- Screen lock - the user can unlock the screen in either of the following ways:
- None - the screen is unlocked whenever it is touched. There is no need to enter a pattern or PIN
- Pattern - the screen is unlocked using a pattern
- PIN - the screen is unlocked upon typing the PIN
Instructions
Change the display options
- Touch the Action menu at the top-right of the screen. The Setting menu opens.
- From here you can:
- Set the screen to be either always on or turned on when touched
- Set the screen to be locked. You will be instructed to create a pattern and to repeat it for verification.
- Set the lock timer duration
Switch user
- Switch user - touch the username to pop-up the login screen
