About this task

This task creates a filesystem export.

Prerequisites

  • A filesystem 

Before you begin

The export is created with the settings described below. You can change these settings during or after the creation of the export. See: Modifying the export permissions.

Read and write size fields accept values up to 9*1024*1024*1024 bytes. 

Basic settings

Instructions

  1. In the GUI, click the Datasets icon on the left toolbar.
  2. Select the filesystem name, and click the Exports tab.
  3. Click the Create Export button.
  4. Enter the Export Path and the Internal Path. You can overwrite the default Advanced settings.
  5. Click Create.
    The export is displayed on the screen.
