InfiniBox provides storage administrators with means to configure the external connectivity of the system. Network connectivity is a prerequisite for using features such as Asynchronous Remote Replication and Network File System (NFS).

Storage administrators configure their storage system to integrate with network hardware (switches, routers) and with network services (e.g. NFS and Replication). In order to simplify management and provisioning processes, InfiniBox Network Spaces was created. It is a logical construct that groups the required networking resources and the configuration required to create a Service, for example, Replication.
