    • The workaround in version 3.0.2 to either remove the proxy settings or update /etc/init//etc/init/gunicorn.conf to pass the environment variable no_proxy to the child process

Improvements

  • IMX-583 Make system status messages clearer and more actionable
    • There are now 4 different system status messages:
      • Authentication error: InfiniMetrics tried connecting to the system but the username or password are invalid.
      • System unavailable: InfiniMetrics tried connecting to the system but got an HTTP error.
      • System unreachable: InfiniMetrics could not connect to the system at all (the system's URL is probably wrong or cannot be resolved).
      • Metrics collection not running: the system status is OK but the metrics collection process is down.
  • IMX-533 Microsoft Edge browser is now supported
  • IMX-505 When the system is unreachable, the login form now shows which username to login as

  • IMX-617 Monitored entity data API returns data for all volumes instead of a specific one

  • IMX-173 Added charts of replication throughput per linked system and per replicated volume (InfiniBox 3.0+ only)

  • IMX-437 The IO charts now include lines for total operations, total throughput and average latency.
  • IMX-436 Unmap operations are now included in the System Totals chart, and are no longer separate.
  • IMX-435 Chart lines can now be toggled on and off via the chart legend.
  • IMX-247 The selection of time ranges on the chart is now more intuitive.

    • In v2.0, the lighttpd package is not installed and not being installed as part of the upgrade. In addition, the upgrade script replaces /opt/vmware/sbin/vami-lighttpd with a broken symlink.
    • As a workaround, run the following commands inside the appliance after upgrade:
      rm /opt/vmware/sbin/vami-lighttpd
      cp /opt/vmware/sbin/vami-lighttpd-1.4.29 /opt/vmware/sbin/vami-lighttpd
