- Product: "SUSE Linux Enterprise Server"
- Version: "12 SP 2"
- Arch: "ppc64le"
- Select the result: "Security update for the Linux Kernel" (Jul 13 2017)
- Download the RPM package: "
- Copy the RPM to the host
- Install the RPM package by running:
rpm -U kernel-default-4.4.74-92.29.1.ppc64le.rpm
- Reboot the host for the changes to take effect
SLES 12 SP 3 and up
The default kernel version in SLES 12 SP 3 is 4.4.73-5, which is compatible.
